Application

This specimen mounting machine is used to mount specimens of unsuitable shapes or sizes to meet the requirements of subsequent sample preparation steps and obtain the required test plane; or to protect edges or prevent surface defects caused by the preparation process. In modern metallographic laboratories, the widely used semi-automatic or automatic grinding/polishing machines have specific requirements for specimen dimensions. To meet these requirements, specimens must be mounted, making the mounting machine an essential piece of equipment in metallographic laboratories.

Feature

This machine is a fully automatic metallographic sample mounting machine with an automatic water cooling system. It is suitable for hot mounting of all materials (thermosetting and thermoplastic). After setting the mounting parameters such as heating temperature, constant temperature time, cooling time, and pressure, put in the sample and mounting material, cover the pressure cap, and press the start button to automatically complete the mounting work without the need for an operator to be present at the machine.
